APSC Presents Roxana Saberi
As a journalist of Iranian-Japanese descent, Roxana Saberi has worked with ABC Radio, NPR, and BBC. While on location in Iran in 2009, Saberi was arrested on a trumped up charge of espionnage. After serving 100 days in prison, her sentence was overtuned. Since her release, Saberi has worked avidly to promote awareness of the human rights situation in Iran and to share the timeless, universal messages she learned from her fellow prisoners.
